形態特徵

• Roots tuberous, sometimes bead like, yellowish.
• Leaves linear to linear-lanceolate, 18-35 cm long, 6-12 mm wide, apex acute, base narrow and sheath-like, keeled, chartaceous but somewhat fleshy, entire, glabrous on both surfaces.
• Flowers orange yellow, 7-9 cm long, 5-8 cm in diam., peduncle ascending, 30-50 cm long, glabrous, green, flowering part 7-14 cm long; bracts ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 5-12 mm long, 2-6 mm wide, apex acute to acuminate; pedicel 3-5 cm long, exarticulate; perianth tube 2-3 cm long, glabrous inside; tepals spreading, oblong, 3-5 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide, somewhat reflexed apically, often with cross venation; filaments 5-7 cm long; anthers oblong, 7-9 mm long; ovary oblong; style 4-8 cm long, glabrous, pale yellow or white; stigma minute.
• Capsules loculicidal; seeds rather few.

分布

• 台灣 : coastal regions in the north, very rare.
• 世界 : Mainland China, Japan and the Ryukyus.
